Welcome to RaiseToGive Foundation (“RaiseToGive”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing and using our website and services, you (“User,” “Donor,” or “Campaigner”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General

  • These Terms apply to all users of RaiseToGive, including donors, campaign creators, volunteers, and visitors.

  • RaiseToGive reserves the right to update, modify, or replace any part of these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

  • If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our platform.

2. Services Provided

  • RaiseToGive is a medical crowdfunding platform that enables individuals or organizations to raise funds for patients in need of urgent medical care.

  • We facilitate fundraising by providing an online platform, donor engagement tools, and campaign visibility.

  • RaiseToGive does not itself provide medical treatment, financial guarantees, or direct healthcare services.

3. Campaign Creation & Verification

  • Campaigners must provide accurate and truthful information, including medical documents, hospital estimates, and patient details.

  • RaiseToGive reserves the right to verify information before publishing campaigns. Verification may include review of medical records, hospital confirmation, or other checks.

  • RaiseToGive may decline, suspend, or remove any campaign found to be misleading, fraudulent, or in violation of these Terms.

4. Donations & Fund Usage

  • Donations made through RaiseToGive are voluntary and non-refundable except in specific circumstances outlined under “Refunds & Cancellations.”

  • Funds raised are transferred to campaigners/patients/hospitals solely for the purpose described in the campaign.

  • RaiseToGive is not responsible for misuse of funds once disbursed, though best efforts are made to ensure transparency.

5. Refunds & Cancellations

  • Donations are generally non-refundable, as they are charitable contributions.

  • Refunds may be considered only if:

    • The campaign is found to be fraudulent before disbursement, or

    • A technical/payment error occurs.

  • RaiseToGive’s decision on refunds shall be final.

6. Donor Responsibilities

  • Donors must provide accurate information when making contributions.

  • Donors acknowledge that RaiseToGive does not guarantee medical outcomes or treatment success.

  • Donors may request receipts or confirmation of donations as available.

7. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

  • Use the platform for unlawful purposes.

  • Impersonate another individual or entity.

  • Engage in activities that may harm the reputation or operations of RaiseToGive.

8. Fees & Charges

  • RaiseToGive may charge a platform/service fee and/or payment gateway charges from donations collected.

  • The applicable charges will be disclosed transparently before transactions.

9. Intellectual Property

  • All content on RaiseToGive, including text, graphics, logos, and platform design, is the property of RaiseToGive Foundation.

  • Unauthorized reproduction, modification, or use is prohibited.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • RaiseToGive is not liable for:

    • Misrepresentation by campaigners.

    • Failure of beneficiaries to use funds as intended.

    • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services.

  • While RaiseToGive verifies campaigns, we cannot guarantee complete accuracy of campaign details.

11. Privacy

  • Use of RaiseToGive is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, store, and protect user data.

12. Termination of Access

  • RaiseToGive may suspend or terminate user accounts at its discretion if these Terms are violated.

13. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

  • Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
